"Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to dedicate funding to protect our drinking water sources; to protect, enhance, and restore our wetlands, prairies, forests, and fish, game, and wildlife habitat; to preserve our arts and cultural heritage; to support our parks and trails; and to protect, enhance, and restore our lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater by increasing the sales and use tax rate beginning July 1, 2009, by three-eighths of one percent on taxable sales until the year 2034?" I'm all for you trying to get others interested in a cause you believe is worthy but to say you won't vote for it if you don't get pledges is downright illogical.
And I say this with all due respect as your action may have more to do with how this site works than with how you would go about this otherwise.
The only pork I will tolerate, comes from a food source, and I will NOT vote for anything in any gov't project which contains items that may be added by smarmy politicians. Perhaps I am even guilty of voting some into office!
